The other thing which I would like to ask is that will you stop if you are getting a better opportunity from some other company and the salary is just the twice what the employee is getting at present.  I really feel that no one will stop. Not even you will stop. Hence if this is the case then the company should really try to turn smart. But how can they look smarter. The answer is simple that they should write a clause in the contract about such sudden exit of the company. They should really allow the employee in such cases. I would really like the company to implement this at once because no employee will really stop no matter whatever the condition might be.
